Good movies that I watched this year(contd.)

A "Beutiful" Wednesday....

I dont know what all should I speak about one of the best films I have ever seen... The film, 'A Wednesday' is indeed a very perfect movie, with a plot regarding terrorism... Astonishingly, its storyline is not about any terror plot or anti-terrorist plot by any military wing in India... But the movie is about a common man's rage against terrorism and the inability shown by Indian govt. in suppressing them.... The lead roles are played by Naseeruddin shah and Anupam kher, as a 'raging' common man and an honest senior cop respectively....

The story has got a lot of thrilling moments and keep the audience sit hard to their seats.... It is not a family thriller, but a 'national' thriller.... Not a single scene in the film make the audience get bored... It is actually a film that makes our mind to knit some fantasies regarding the motion of the plot... The influence the 'common man' makes in the film is shown at the concluding scenes... The film indeed makes a great influence on the audience also... The audience themselves feel that a tinge of that 'common man' lies in themselves... The script have got fantastic contents which make his act to be justifiable infront of the audience.... The debutant director neeraj pandey makes a great impression... The cinematography and the music also adds excellence to the movie....

I cant stop myself from giving them a full star rating...

Good movies that I watched this year....

Hello everybody...
I wish to comment on some of the films that I have watched in 2009... Since this blog has been created recently, some of the movies I may comment seems to be comparitively old... Plz note that these films are commented not on the order in which they are released, but the order in which I watched them... Plz don get displeased by these stuffs.. I don always get many other topics to blog frequently...

I remember that the first commentable film that I watched this year was the 'Slumdog millionaire'... We Indians could never forget that film for its many oscars... It was the first time a bollywood film(it can be considered as such eventhough the production part is mainly from western) is getting this much appreciation from the world.. A 'die-hard' AR's fan like me could never forget the moment when the music legend got honoured for his original score for the 'Jai Ho' song in the film... First let me speak a few words about the film... The film was directed by the British director Danny Boyle.. Its main cast include Dev Patel as the slumboy 'Jamal', the protagonist, Frieda Pinto, as the heroine, Irfan Khan, as the investigating officer and Anil Kapoor as the 'KBC'-show host... The film was a very good and entertaining film...

What I still wonder is how it got so much of international applause... It was like 'just-a-bollywood masala' movie, with all its recipies.... Ofcourse, it was a great movie, but not the best of all... It had some gaps and flaws which was not worthy for a film that won golden globes and several oscars.. I don wish to point to the fact that it visualized India as a third world kind because for the realistic approach, it was indeed necessary... The slum boys speaking english witha an accent while the other educated Indians acting in it including the police officers and the KBC host speaking 'Indian' english may be a small factor to consider... But the greatest flaw in the film is too much help from the destiny that the protogonist Jamal receives throughout, which may not have been considered as too much realistic by most of the film critics...

Another thing that affected the realistic nature of the film is the casting of a very famous and sponsored TV show host to be an egoistic person... Anil Kapoor, who plays the role of th KBC host and its producer, often calls Jamal as 'chaiwala' very sarcastically... I wonder where on the hell can you find a TV anchor to be that much rude.. He even tries to make Jamal get out of his show by trying to make him say a wrong answer... He is the one who hand over Jamal to police thinking him to be a fraud(U can also see Anil uttering 'after all its my f--king show').. U can never see a host or a producer of a reality show with millions of viewers and where sponsors actually lavish crores of rupees, to be this much harsh...
Danny could have done a bit more of thinking on those factors... Why should the producer worry about money to be given to the winner and more importantly, the winner's dignity, when he gets lot more through the sponsorships... And remember how strong are the medias, in India.. such happenings could be the 'all-time favourites' breaking news for them.... Imagine how adversly it could affect the show... And in the last part of the film, it is unclear what Anil's state of mind is when a 'chaiwala' took away 20 billions from his show... These many things in the film really did lack realism... yet, astonishingly, it became a much better appettite for majority of the film critics...

When I come to the positive side of the film, I should say that it certainly had more positive aspects than negative... The music is a factor to consider... I won't say that it was the 'master's' masterpice... But he certainly deserves an oscar... Anyway, a standing ovation for the living legend.. Other great things about the movie include its direction and cinematography... both have been done excellently well... Except for the little gaps and flaws in the film, Danny did a great work.... I liked it more with the eye of a normal bollywood film lover, than a realistic film lover... It is a gud movie to watch, but not the best of the lot... I will give 3 stars out of 5 for this...

My views about the relation between time and universe.

I had been having certain viewpoints about time... At times I used to think a lot about time, its origin and about how universe and time are inter-related... Here are some of my viewpoints:-

1) Only 'ONE happening' has actually happenend. That happening is termed as the 'Big Bang'.

2) All the things that have happenened in the so called 'universe', are the after effects of the 'ONE happening' that happened.

3) Every Planck Time[10^26 planck times = (almost) 1 attoseconds(10^-18s) is the shortest period of time ever measured!!] is caused by its previous Planck Time.

4) The first Planck Time is the time when Big Bang started. The events that had happenend till the completion of the first Planck Time explains for the cause of the second Planck Time and the chain continues as justified by (3).

5) If there is a minute change in the course of events in any of the Planck Times, all the Planck Times succeeding that will get affected.

6)Thus even a slight variation in that may have caused the course of universal events to happen in an entirely different manner to what is happening now.

7)It is still not sure about the fact if the variation as mentioned in (5) have ever happened. Hence, it is never possible to figure out the exact course of development of universe that happened so far without actually viewing the changes that had happened to each Planck time starting from the First Planck Time.

8)It is also not sure if the variation as mentioned in (5) could ever happen in future. That is, aforesaid variations could also happen in Planck Times that are still to come.Hence, it is never possible to predict the future course of the universe.

9) By (8), it can be concluded that every Planck Time may have the capability to to decide the fate of the universe.
